Effective June 25, I resigned from my position as director of the Battle Creek Boychoir and Girls Chorus. I have already notified and thanked my choir members, but I wanted to publicly express my gratitude for all those who have positively contributed to my life during my tenure with the Boychoir and Girls Chorus.
Thank you for the time we spent together over the past three years. You opened your hearts to me. You were gracious when I made mistakes. We worked hard and created great music.
I learned much as we worked on projects, rehearsals, retreats, concerts, and tours. I have grown as a musician, director, and as an individual due to my experiences with you. I thank you all from the depths of my heart.
For those of you who are wondering what I am going to be doing in the next few years, I will be pursuing a degree in choral conducting at Western Michigan University. I am also building a choir in Coldwater, MI. Other than that, we will see what the Lord has for me. He is always in control, and hasn’t led me astray so far. He is great, and He is good.
Thanks and God bless,
