My name is Joel Snyder. I am currently a music teacher at Vandalia Christian School in Greensboro, NC, although I originally hail from Detroit, MI. I graduated with my B.Mus. in Church Music from Bob Jones University. My M.M. degree in Voice Performance is from Eastern Michigan University. Two summers ago, I finished the first level of Kodaly certification at Westminster Choir College. I am finishing my third year of teaching.

Vandalia is a school of about 650 students. I teach the 2nd-6th general music classes and choirs, as well as Jr. High and Sr. High Choir.

In this blog, I am excited to share with you what the Lord is teaching me, whether that be musical or otherwise. May God bless you as you seek to honor and glorify Him.
